Can I straighten, curl, wash, color &/or bleach my hair?
Yes. Our hair is 100% virgin raw human hair. All textures will return to its original state after a gentle wash. We recommend consulting a professional colorist if you wish to color your hair. Any chemical processing will effect the nature of the hair. Our European blonde hair is recommended for platinum blonde coloring based on it's natural light state that will require less chemical processing to achieve the desired hair color.
Virgin human hair is distinct, and no two heads of hair are exactly alike. Our pictures are meant to give you a good idea of our textures. When you place an order with us you will notice that there will be some variation between our pictures and that of the hair you receive.
We only supply unprocessed virgin hair in natural shades of 1B (Off Black), 2 (Dark Brown), and 2B (dark brown with natural highlights/undertones). If you choose to color the hair, it takes and holds permanent, semi-permanent, lifts, and cellophane beautifully. We recommend the coloring of the hair to be done by a professional stylist.
Minimally to none. The most effective way to avoid shedding is by sealing the wefts and not allowing the stylist to sew and place the needle through the weft. Also avoid excessively cutting the wefts to lengthen the reuse of the hair to give you versatility of installing the hair in different hair styles.
How do I seal the weft?
Cutting the weft promotes shedding, so we advise using a weft sealer to prevent this. Without getting it on the hair, apply the sealant on one side of the weft, allow it to dry and repeat this process on the other side. The weft can be sealed with Fray Block or Aleene’s Fabric Fusion. These can be purchased at any crafts store or Wal-Mart. We advise letting a professional stylist perform this task.
With proper care, your hair will last a year or longer.
