Raw Hair Maintenance

Pre-Install

Always wash your hair extensions first before installation. You will be able to detect any issues with your bundles at this time. If you do, please contact us immediately to discuss the problems and we will resolve them accordingly.

Weft Install

Use the over and out method when installing your hair. Although our wefts are custom made, we still advise that you care for them the best you can. Not required, but you may seal your wefts using a good quality weft sealant. Also, cut your wefts only when absolutely necessary. After your install, brush your hair out thoroughly to remove loose hairs.

RAW BURMESE

Maintenance

Apply a moisture rich conditioner and comb hair, starting with the ends

working your way up to your scalp. Leave Conditioner in for at least 15 minutes

or more. Do not massage the hair. Rinse thoroughly. Scrunch hair gently to enhance the curls. When damp, apply a dime size of an anti-frizz alcohol free hair serum. A curl cream may be required for a more tamed look. Let air-dry.

Do not use oil products or excessive products on curly hair, it will cause matting.

Do not brush or comb hair when dry, it will cause hair to frizz and

may cause hair to tangle.

Important Note:

Conditioner only wash is recommended at least 2 times a week.

Bed Time Care

Before going to bed, put your hair in one big high ponytail (pineapple), wear a satin scarf

or bonnet. After waking up, untie ponytail. Spray hair with a water bottle and comb through section by section using a wide tooth comb starting from the roots to the top.  Scrunch hair gently. Let air-dry. Do not touch when wet.  This causes the hair to get big and frizzy.

What is Raw Hair?
Raw Hair is hair that has not been processed (dyed, bleached, permed, straightened or chemically treated) in any way. All of our hair is in its natural state and guaranteed to be in its correct cuticle alignment.
How many ounces are in each bundle?
We sell bundles that contain approximately. 3.5 ounces of hair.
How many bundles do I need?
For a partial install we recommend 2 bundles
For a full install under 16 inches long we recommend 2 to 3 bundles
For a full install under 26 inches long we recommend 3 to 4 bundles
For 26 inches + we recommend 4 to 5 bundles
Can I straighten, curl, wash, color &/or bleach my hair?
Yes. Our hair is 100% raw human hair. All textures will return to its original state after a gentle wash.  We recommend consulting a professional colorist if you wish to color your hair.  Any chemical processing will effect the nature of the hair.
TEXTURE DISCLAIMER
Raw Human hair is distinct, and no two heads of hair are exactly alike. Our pictures are meant to give you a good idea of our textures. When you place an order with us you will notice that there will be some variation between our pictures and that of the hair you receive.
COLOR DISCLAIMER
We only supply unprocessed virgin hair in natural shades of 1B (Off Black), 2 (Dark Brown), and 2B (dark brown with natural highlights/undertones).  If you choose to color the hair, it takes and holds permanent, semi-permanent, lifts, and cellophane beautifully.  We recommend the coloring of the hair to be done by a professional stylist.
Shedding?
Minimally to none.  The most effective way to avoid shedding is by sealing the wefts and not allowing the stylist to sew and place the needle through the weft.  Also avoid excessively cutting the wefts to lengthen the reuse of the hair to give you versatility of installing the hair in different hair styles.
How do I seal the weft?
Cutting the weft promotes shedding, so we advise using a weft sealer to prevent this. Without getting it on the hair, apply the sealant on one side of the weft, allow it to dry and repeat this process on the other side. The weft can be sealed with Fray Block or Aleene’s Fabric Fusion. These can be purchased at any crafts store or Wal-Mart. We advise letting a professional stylist perform this task.
Longevity?
With proper care, your hair will last a year or longer.
